Edmond, OK – Feb 19, 2015 – Teamo, a sports novelty company based in Edmond, OK, has announced the launch of the “The Fan Medal” Kickstarter campaign.
Since the Fan Medal’s first exposure at the Sports Licensing Tailgate Show in Las Vegas in January, the orders have been flooding in. The company has turned to crowdfunding to raise seed money for production. The Kickstarter campaign goal is to raise $10,000 by March 15th.
The Fan Medal is a 36-inch plastic chain with a 6-inch plastic medal, which can be imprinted with any sports team logo. It is lightweight and easy to wear with almost anything. This would be a great addition to a fan’s ensemble or as a gift for the proud sports fan.
Frank Collamore, designer of the Fan Medal, is a graduate from Oklahoma City University. He owns a successful software company. About two years ago, he moved into the sports novelty arena when he created the first ever foam Fan Ring. Now, Frank has moved onto his next project, the Fan Medal. If the campaign is successfully funded, the first production run will be completed in time for the 2015 NFL and NCAA football seasons. Soon after, production will begin for the NBA, NHL and MLB.
Funds from the campaign will go toward building the infrastructure for manufacturing, hiring employees and purchasing raw materials to get started. Teamo already has a long-standing relationship with a partner who holds licenses with the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and NCAA.
As part of the “Made in America” movement, Frank will open the facility in his home state, Oklahoma. He hopes to move more jobs back to the United States to help the economy and bring quality products back. There are plans to produce additional products.
Be part of the movement and make a contribution today. Those who wish to show support can give by clicking here.
All backers will receive exclusive Kickstarter rewards as a thank you. Fan Medals are set to deliver no later than June 2015.
For those who cannot make a donation, please share this on Facebook and Twitter. The more awareness of this campaign, the more likely it is to get funded. This is an “all-or-nothing” deal. So, if the goal is not reached then the project will not move forward.
